Director Ameer trying for national award
The movie Yogi with Ameer and Madhumita in the lead role is said to made at a budget of 12 crore and expected to be a deepavali release.
The main story is based on the slum area in Chennai and extensively shot in the slum area. Ameer put in a lot of effort for the movie by reducing his weight with regular gym exercises so that he can suit the role better.
